Julie Smalley

Manager

Julie Smalley, MSN, RN c-EFM joined COPE Health Solutions in April 2023. In her role as Manager, Mrs. Smalley is working to expand workforce solutions and further integrate these solutions with consulting services for our clients. Mrs. Smalley has deep expertise in the areas of clinical workforce development and engagement, leadership and management, care coordination, operations, strategic planning, communication and obstetrical care.

Prior to COPE Health Solutions, Mrs. Smalley has held leadership positions in clinical settings centered around maternal and child health, with a specific focus on best practice implementation, clinical excellence, employee engagement and patient satisfaction. Mrs. Smalley has thrived as a Registered Nurse in Michigan for the last 22 years. In addition, she has also served as a clinical instructor of nursing for undergraduate programs.

Mrs. Smalley currently holds professional memberships with the American Nurses Association and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Mrs. Smalley completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Western Michigan University and her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership at Western Governor’s University. Mrs. Smalley is currently working towards her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership at the University of Alabama – Huntsville.
