Fatima Gutierrez

Program Manager

Fatima Gutierrez joined COPE Health Solutions in July 2022 as a Program Manager at Adventist Health Glendale. As Program Manager, Ms. Gutierrez is responsible for the management of the COPE Health Scholars Program at Adventist Health Glendale. Her role includes supervision of all program operations with a focus on program management, recruitment, training and the professional development of program participants.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Gutierrez has over a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector, specifically serving youth from diverse and underserved communities in the greater Los Angeles area. In her previous role as Workforce Development Manager, Ms. Gutierrez provided access to Career Pathway internships focusing on science, technology, education, arts, and mathematics in order to provide professional opportunities within local businesses. During her time, Ms. Gutierrez expanded these workforce programs, internship opportunities, and provided clear processes and policies to maintain quality and meaningful training experiences. Additionally, Ms. Gutierrez has over three years of experience working with individuals with special needs, specifically those in the Autism Spectrum, providing Applied Behavior Analysis services in school and home settings.

Ms. Gutierrez received her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development at California State University, Northridge. During her time at CSUN, Ms. Gutierrez was a part of the Education Opportunity program and CSUN helpline. As a first-generation Latina, Ms. Gutierrez’s passion continues to be to help diverse communities and all individuals to find their path to a more equitable future.
