Gavy Gupta

Gavy Gupta, MPH, joined COPE Health Solutions as a Senior Consultant in the Summer of 2022. Mr. Gupta brings 4 years of broad experience across performance improvement, strategy, systems, finance, operations, business development and change management spectrums.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Mr. Gupta served as Senior Business Process Improvement Associate at athenahealth. In this role, Mr. Gupta used Lean Six Sigma and Agile Methodologies to improve capabilities and performance across a broad spectrum of Revenue Cycle related business lines.

Mr. Gupta also served as Performance Improvement Advisor at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) for 2.5 years. In this role, he guided leadership across 8 medical specialties in the creation of operational dashboards and reports to track KPIs and payer contract metrics. During his years at CHA, he led the implementation of Telepsychiatry technology amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, provided assessments and opportunities to enhance the system-wide e-Consult referral program, and redesigned the Specialty Psychiatry Case Worker team. Mr. Gupta also received the CHA Circle of Values Award in 2021 for assisting all departments across CHA in meeting JHACO requirements related to expired supplies.

Mr. Gupta is published in the New England Journal of Medicine: Catalyst for his work on rapidly implementing Telepsychiatry at a low resourced community hospital system and was selected to share his success in designing CHA’s specialty psychiatry case management team at the 2020 Academy Health Annual Research Meeting.

Mr. Gupta received his Master of Public Health in Health Care Management from Boston University, and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Bridgeport. He is also a member of the New England Association of Healthcare Quality (NEAHQ).
